Privacy policy

US Retail Calendar is published by Data Dive Digital. This policy explains what information the app handles when you install and use it.

Information we access

The app does not read your orders, customers or sales. With your permission, it can create discount codes in your store, and only when you click Create discount and confirm the details. It reads your store's time zone so each discount starts and ends on the right local dates.

When you open the app, Shopify sends your store's address and a short-lived session token to our server so the page can be displayed securely inside your Shopify admin and actions you take can be completed on your behalf.

Storage and retention

The app does not save your store's address, discount details or any personal information. Discounts you create are stored by Shopify in your store, where you can edit or delete them at any time under Discounts.

How the calendar works

All holiday and shopping dates are calculated in your browser or on our server from fixed calendar rules. Your planning preferences, such as filters, are kept only for the current session.

Data requests and deletion

Because the app stores no shop or customer data, requests from Shopify to view or delete customer or shop data are acknowledged and there is nothing further to delete. Uninstalling the app removes its access to your store immediately. Discounts you created stay in your store until you delete them.

Billing

The app is offered as a paid subscription billed through Shopify. When you open the app, our server asks Shopify whether your store has an active subscription. We don't receive or store any payment details; charges appear on your regular Shopify bill, and you can cancel by uninstalling the app.

Third parties

The app runs on Cloudflare's hosting infrastructure, which carries data between Shopify and your browser encrypted over HTTPS, and loads Shopify App Bridge from Shopify. If you choose to add a date to Google Calendar, you are taken to Google, and Google's privacy policy applies to that action.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address.
